LUIS has been an Accredited  professional Pet Groomer since 2010. He attended New York School of Dog Grooming for accreditations; AKC S.A.F.E. Groomer Safety, Assurance, Fundamentals, Education. His experience ranges from working in big corporates salons to small salons to boarding, daycare and dog training facilities. His love of animals has been life-long and stems from childhood; “ I grew up with all different types of breeds of dog, I always had a passion for working with dogs and have worked in the animal care industry for most of my life. I currently have 3 rescues; a Pitbull red nose named CHOCOLATE, Silky Yorkie named AFRICA And English Retriever named BALI.

I strive to make the grooming experience as Stress-Free as possible. I believe it is a must to have a great deal of patience and trust, as well as the ability to read dogs body language. I achieve a great amount of success in Grooming Pets without using any form of sedation. Clients have told me that I have special knack for working with dogs that other groomers turn away.

I take great pride in my work and I am very much a Quality over Quantity type of groomer. I keep up to date on the latest Grooming trends, Equipments, and products by attending trade canine shows, tv shows series, dog grooming magazines, dog grooming shows, and dog grooming seminars. A big part of being a profesional groomer is knowing what products can help get the look and feel that clients and dog owners want. “I’m a believer that there is always something new to learn in the grooming industry, and I will always strive to learn new ways to keep your furry friends happy and healthy.”
